Offline document saving and access

The Freewrite saves all drafts to internal storage which are then synced to Postbox.

You will need to make sure you have the most up to date software in order to be able to access your documents via a computer (USB Cable).

First, turn on your Freewrite, then use the included USB cable to plug your device into your computer. Once connected, you should see a modal pop up on your Freewrite indicating that it has connected to your computer. You will now be able to search in your PC and find your Freewrite listed as "Freewrite" and assigned to one of the drives. Inside the Freewrite folder you will see the folder structure (A, B, C) which correlates to the folder structure on the device and in Postbox. By opening the folder, you can see the documents that you have written on your Freewrite.

Documents are saved as .txt files. All documents are read only as we do not currently support two way syncing on the Freewrite.

To learn more, please read the "README.txt" in the Freewrite folder.
