Enable Password-Protected Lockscreen (Alpha)

It's easy to protect against unauthorized access to your account with a lockscreen on your Alpha.

With a lockscreen enabled, any time you are logged into your device, a password will be required upon the device waking up. Nobody will be able to access your account from the device unless they put in your password.

You can enable the lockscreen two ways on Alpha:

  1. On your device, hold the power button for 3 seconds to open the main menu. Select [3] Lockscreen and follow the prompts to finish setting it up.
  2. Go to "Device Settings" in your Postbox account, select Alpha, and select "On" beside "Enable Lockscreen." The next time your device connects to Wi-Fi and updates, the lockscreen will be enabled.
