Changing the Status Screen (Smart Typewriter)

Smart Typewriter features a secondary screen below the main writing canvas. We call this smaller screen the "status screen." It provides the user with feedback about the device or their writing session in a way that does not clutter the writing environment. 

Your device comes with 6 available status screens that can be cycled through by pressing the [special] key located in the bottom right of the keyboard. These 6 options are:

• Device information: Shows current folder and sync location, date, active keyboard mapping (language), connected email account, and charging status.
• Document stats: shows word count, reading time, and character count.
• Analog clock
• Digital clock
• Stopwatch: Great for writing sprints!
• Blank: For the ultimate distraction-free writing experience!
