Offline document saving and access
Your Freewrite device saves all drafts to internal storage which are then synced to Postbox.
You will need to make sure you have the most up to date software in order to be able to access your documents via a computer (USB Cable).
First, turn on your device, then plug your device into your computer using the included USB cable. Once connected, you should see a modal pop up on your device indicating that it has connected to your computer. You will now be able to search in your PC and find your device listed as "Freewrite" or “Traveler” and assigned to one of the drives.
Inside the “Freewrite” or “Traveler” folder you will see the folder structure (A, B, C) which correlates to the folder structure on the device and in Postbox. By opening the folder, you can see the documents that you have written on your device.
Documents are saved as .txt files. All documents are read only as we do not currently support two way syncing on the device.
To learn more, please read the "README.txt" in the device folder.
