Battery Life (Traveler)
Our devices have a lithium ion battery. Lithium ion batteries do not require any special care, but there are things you can do to prolong the life of the battery.
For example, you can try to avoid "deep discharges," which stress lithium ion batteries. Since these batteries have a constant, slow drain, when they get very low, it will kill the battery much faster. Instead, many users prefer to charge when the battery is only partially discharged.
Extreme temperatures should also be avoided with your device.
If you are going to store your device for a long time, you should first fully charge the device. Then make sure the device is completely turned off, not just in sleep mode. Note that lithium ion batteries have a constant drain, even when turned off, so when you do eventually turn the device on again, it will most likely not still be at full charge. This is normal for a lithium ion battery. Simply put it on charge again.
